The next hard thing is to say goodbye to pets. We've already found new homes for Jack the bird, Jazzy the snake (thanks Stephanie), and Maya the bearded dragon. Mac the cat has found a new home with a neighbor's sister and we say goodbye to her in a couple of weeks. The most difficult is Zoe our dog. Fortunately, my mom is taking her and we know she will love her new home. She's been there before and loves my mom and stepdad. But it will still be hard.
Work projects are wrapping up at the house, so this means it is time to begin sorting, storing, and packing.
The countdown has begun.
